    Zambratija

Zambratija is a small fishing-active village situated between Umag and Savudrija in nord-west Istria. Zambratija is inhabitated since Roman times. This is confirmed by the discovery of the ruins of some buildings constructed in that time. From excavated valuables which were identified here, the most important is the tombstone (from the 1st century B.C.), excavated in 1986 during the construction of infrastructure (transport links). The monument adorns the south wall of the church in Zambratija.

In addition to interesting historical discoveries, many cultural events and the opening of the ATP tournament at a distance of 1.500 m, for this small village it is essential the beauty and purity of the sea and diverse formed coastlines (from the sandy beaches, which are very suitable for families with small children, rocky beaches and concrete beaches to wild coasts).

All these small things are the reasons for visitors comming here, where they spend their  time relaxing by the sea. So they  go home with charged batteries, looking forward to next year, when they will be returning.
